England Beat Germany To Win 2022 Women's European Championship, It's Actually Coming Home

It's finally coming home. England women have secured a major piece of silverware for the first time after beating great rivals Germany in a pulsating European Championship final.

Sarina Wiegman's side, who beat Austria, Norway, Northern Ireland, Spain and Sweden on their way to the final, took the lead through substitute Ella Toone.

Georgia Stanway picked up the ball in midfield before knocking it across to Keira Walsh, who fed Toone with a perfectly-weighted through ball. The 22-year-old then did this to send Wembley into a frenzy.

How good was that? And with her second touch of the game, as well. Here's how social media reacted to the finish.
