 Manchester United are in action again tonight in the first post-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer game, with Michael Carrick leading the side against Villarreal in the Champions League.

Victory over Villarreal would put United on their way to Champions League qualification and after a sombre first half, which ended 1-0, United emerged as a different side after the interval.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave Carrick’s side the lead with roughly 20 minutes remaining on the clock, capitalising on an error from the Villarreal backline.
