“The adaptation will take time” – Cristiano Ronaldo opens up on his role at Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo has started his second spell at Manchester United in blistering form, scoring six goals in his opening eight games since completing a sensational return to the club last month.

His return to the club has coincided with a slump in form from Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side remaining winless in their last three Premier League games.

The 36-year-old forward has, however, not slowed up this term as he continues to boast a magnificent goalscoring record. His late winner against Atalanta extended his record as the Champions League’s top goalscorer. Furthermore, he has now scored in all three gameweeks of Europe’s fine dining table this season.

Ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against in-form Liverpool, Ronaldo has opened up on his role at the club and insisted that the adaptation will take time after making three big-money signings over the summer.
